"Xijing Miscellaneous Notes" said that the Han Dynasty court made "tigers" with jade for the emperor's attendants to carry with them at any time for the emperor's use. This "tiger" is now called a special utensil called a toilet or chamber pot, and it is also the predecessor of the toilet. It is said that this "tiger" was invented by Emperor Gaozu Liu Bang using the crown of a Confucian scholar as a drowning weapon.
